Hi Reader, β Happy Sunday! I hope you're having a great weekend! β It was 61 degrees here in western Washington today, so it was pretty nice. βοΈ β I walked Bentley (our morkie), and we made homemade pizza for dinner (pictures below + a resource you need to have if you want to make the BEST pizza!). β Anyway...Iβm not usually a football watcher, but the Super Bowl is different! Itβs basically a fun food day with a side of football. π β And this year feels extra exciting because weβre right outside Seattle and the Seattle Seahawks are in the Super Bowl! Go Seahawks!! πππ β For the occasion, I rounded up some of my favorite game day recipes that are perfect for snacking, sharing, and just having a good time while the game (and commercials) are on. πΊ β Below you'll find our favorite picks from the site, and for a complete list, check out 34+ Game Day Food Ideas [Appetizers, Dips, Sliders]. β For even more ideas, grab my 15 Quick & Easy Air Fryer Appetizer Recipes e-book at an exclusive member-only price of $5! ππ± β In the book, you'll find recipes for homemade mozzarella sticks, citrus ale wings, jalapeno poppers, cheeseburger sliders, southwest egg rolls, and more. These sliders start with thinly sliced marinated roast beef tucked into soft Hawaiian rolls, layered with melted provolone, pickled red onions, and a creamy garlic-horseradish aioli. You can make the roast ahead of time, prep the toppings the night before, and assemble right before the game starts! β β‘οΈ Full recipe: https://heavenlyspiced.com/roast-beef-sliders/β
Making your own soft pretzels might sound intimidating, but I promise itβs much easier than it looks! The dough comes together quickly with simple ingredients, and once you shape the bites, the rest is just a quick boil and bake. The result is buttery, pillowy soft pretzel bites served with creamy smoked Gouda cheese sauce. So good!! β β‘οΈ Full recipe: https://heavenlyspiced.com/soft-pretzel-bites-with-smoked-gouda-cheese-dip/β
If you want a lighter appetizer in the mix, these vegetarian cauliflower bites are breaded and air-fried until golden and crunchy, then served with a super delicious, homemade buttermilk herb ranch dip. Oven instructions are also included in the recipe! β ββ‘οΈ Full recipe: https://heavenlyspiced.com/crispy-cauliflower-bites/β
This healthier ranch dip comes together in about five minutes and is the tastiest dip for veggies, chips, or crackers. Cottage cheese blends into a creamy base that tastes like classic ranch but is higher in protein and made with simple ingredients (unlike most store-bought versions). Pair it with any of the finger foods or veggie sticks for a balanced snack board! β ββ‘οΈ Full recipe: https://heavenlyspiced.com/ranch-cottage-cheese-dip/β
Loaded with layers of Italian meats, mozzarella, provolone, and banana peppers, these sliders get brushed with garlic butter and cooked right in the air fryer (see oven instructions in the recipe, too!). Marinara sauce for dipping is optional but highly recommended! β ββ‘οΈ Full recipe: https://heavenlyspiced.com/air-fryer-italian-slidersβ

Hit reply and let me know! β I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. π
Homemade NY-style pepperoni pizza. Keep scrolling for the book where my husband made the recipe from! You can't get closer to a pizza slice/pie from a NY pizzeria than this one! π β
Buffalo chicken pizza. We can't wait to eat leftovers tomorrow! π β
The best book!!! If you want to start making pizza or want to improve your pizza-making skills...you need The Pizza Bible! My husband decided he needed it and got it from Amazon, and he was glued to the book. He made the two pizzas above based on his studies, lol. Plus, we're from NY, so we know a good pizza when we taste one. π β
My tulips have multiplied! This is the 3rd year since I planted them, and I have never seen them multiply like this! I didn't even know that was a thing. I'm more of a fruit, vegetable, and herb gardener and haven't dealt too much with flowers. But I'm excited to see what colors they will be. β
My radishes are growing, too! It's a cool-season veggie. I tried planting them in the ground for the first time rather than in a large container, and they seem to be growing nicely. Slowly but surely. We redid our lawn this past fall and had leftover compost/sand/dirt mix, so we put it in an area for a garden. I'm hoping it helps everything grow this spring/summer! I have so many plans for what I'm going to plant!
