A Huge Thank You, [FIRST NAME GOES HERE]!

Hi Reader,

Happy New Year! πŸŽ‰ I hope you had a nice holiday season. 😊

Even though we weren't able to be with family this year, my husband and I made the most of it.

We cooked a nice prime rib dinner, and decorated with lights outside for the first time, which made it feel festive. And, my parents and our aunts sent us wrapped gifts and gift cards to open, so it felt like Christmas morning, which was so thoughtful of them. πŸ’š

But, the holidays are over, and I just wanted to pop in today and say thank you, Reader!

For supporting my recipes, reading my blog, sharing them with friends… it honestly means more than you know. I’m so grateful you’re here and part of the Heavenly Spiced community.

I’m really excited heading into 2026 because I finally hit a big goal I’ve been working toward for a long time (since I started my blog over 5 years ago), which is joining the Raptive community.

I wanted to share why this is such a big deal for me. Raptive is an ad network for food and lifestyle creators, and it means that every time you visit my blog, I earn money while you browse! It's a huge upgrade from my previous ad network. πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸŽ‰

You don’t have to click anything or buy anything. Just being there and reading recipes helps support my work.

That support enables me to continue creating free recipes, testing them multiple times, photographing everything myself, and continually improving the blog for you (which I absolutely love doing).

If you're a fellow blogger and are interested in joining Raptive, you can apply here and mention the referral code: RAPTIVE-B2CEC82WBD.

Now, after all the holiday baking and indulging (same πŸ˜…), I have some new recipes coming your way to help you get back into a healthy groove!

Realistic, nourishing food that still tastes amazing.

I'm excited to share more recipes, including the continuation of my 'Comfort Food Made Healthier' series.

The series started with my carrot cake loaf and beef stuffed shells, which are both made with cottage cheese for a lighter take on the traditional recipes and for added protein. πŸ’ͺ🏽

In the meantime, here are some of my favorite healthy recipe collections to help you get started:

I’d love to hear from you, too, Reader! Is there anything you feel like you need help with in the kitchen right now?

Weeknight dinners, meal prep, baking basics, cooking from scratch… let me know so I can create content that actually helps you, or answer any questions you may have! Just hit reply. I'm all ears.

One last thing: did you make any Heavenly Spiced recipes during the holidays? I’d love to know what you tried and how they turned out!

Thank you again for being here. I’m really excited for what’s ahead and for another year of cooking together. 😊

Happy New Year,
